The steps

Find it

  1. Every screen is in the menu on the left. Under CORE, tap Inventory. On a phone, open the menu with the button at the top left first.
  2. Tap the Stock Takes tab. Every count you have started or finished is listed here.

Count one location

  1. Tap New Stock Take.
  2. Tap Name and type October count Durban, then tap Location and choose Durban Showroom.
  3. Tap Start Counting. The sheet lists every stock-tracked product, with what Ledgr expects at that location.
  4. Tap Filter by product name or SKU… and type Mesh. Tap Count and type 3, one chair fewer than expected.
  5. Tap Save counts. The difference shows on the line, in units, while you carry on counting.
  6. Tap Commit. Ledgr says how many lines differ and the value posted as a stock loss. Tap Commit again to post it.

Scenario: you cannot finish the count today

  1. Tap New Stock Take, tap Name and type Johannesburg count, then tap Location and choose Johannesburg Office.
  2. Tap Start Counting, count what you can, and tap Save counts before you stop. Nothing is posted until you commit.
  3. The count stays In Progress on the Stock Takes tab, with your saved quantities, until someone commits it.

Scenario: you count with a barcode scanner

  1. On the Stock Takes tab, tap Continue on a count in progress, then Scan to count. On a phone or tablet the camera opens.
  2. On a computer, use a USB scanner, or tap Scan or type barcode…, type CHR-MESH-PRO and tap Count.
  3. Each scan adds one to the matching line, and Ledgr says so: Counted Mesh Task Chair Pro: 1. A code that is not on the sheet is named, not ignored.

More detail is in the guide.
