Read your dashboard
Read the headline figures, chase an overdue invoice, find any screen or record in seconds and arrange the dashboard the way you work.
The steps
Find it
- Ledgr opens on the dashboard. From anywhere else, tap Dashboard at the top of the menu; on a phone, open the menu with the button at the top left first.
Read the headline figures
- Total Cash is what your books say you hold across your bank and cash accounts. The line under it compares that with your bank statements.
- Outstanding Receivables is what customers owe you, with the overdue part shown beneath it.
- Cash Runway shows how many weeks your cash lasts at the rate you have spent over the last twelve months.
- Further down, Outstanding Invoices lists who owes you. Tap You owe to see the supplier bills waiting, then Owed to you to go back.
Scenario: you chase payments every morning
- Tap Customise dashboard. Each card has a switch to show or hide it, and arrows to move it.
- Tap Move Invoices and SARS calendar up, so the invoices you are owed sit just under the headline figures.
- Tap Insights to hide a card you never read. Changed your mind? Tap Insights again to bring it back.
- Tap Done. The layout is yours alone; your colleagues keep their own.
Scenario: a customer is late paying
- Under Outstanding Invoices, tap Show all to list every invoice still owed. Overdue ones are in red, each with its own buttons.
- On an overdue invoice, tap Remind, then Send email? to email the customer a reminder. The second tap is there so nothing is sent by accident.
- When the customer gives you a date, tap Promise date, then Pick the date they gave you, type 2026-12-15 and tap Save. The cash-flow forecast counts it in that week.
Scenario: you cannot remember where a screen is
- Tap Search anything… at the top and type payroll. Under "Go to", the Payroll screen appears; tap a result to open it.
Scenario: you need one invoice or customer fast
- Tap Search anything… and type part of an invoice number, such as 142. INV-2026-142 appears under "Records" with its customer and amount.
More detail is in the guide.
