The steps

Find it

  1. Every screen is in the menu on the left. Under CORE, tap Workflows. On a phone, open the menu with the button at the top left first.
  2. Workflows holds your boards: one process each, such as a month-end close, with its steps as columns.

Set up the board

  1. Tap New board. Under Start from, choose Month-end close. The template fills in the name, the columns and the prefix.
  2. Tap Create board. The board opens with its columns ready.
  3. Under Not started, tap + Add card, then tap Title and type September VAT reconciliation.
  4. Tap Add card to put it on the board. It is numbered from the board's prefix, CLOSE-0001 for the first.
  5. As the work moves on, drag September VAT reconciliation into the next column. A column at its limit refuses the drop and says why.

Scenario: a colleague asks where it stands

  1. Tap September VAT reconciliation to open the card.
  2. Tap Add a comment and type Bank lines matched, two queries with the supplier, then tap Comment.

Scenario: someone else takes it over

  1. Tap September VAT reconciliation to open the card, then tap Edit.
  2. Tap Assigned to and choose Nomsa Zulu, then tap Save. The Insights tab shows who is carrying what.

More detail is in the guide.
